Current transformer types Т-0,66 and ТШ-0,66 are designed to transmit measuring information signal to measuring devices.
The transformers are designed for operation in climatic version У category of placement 3 according to ГОСТ 15150-69.
Any operating position is possible.
2. Transformer arrangement and operation
Т-0,66 type is a coil transformer, ТШ-0,66 type – a busbar one. Transformers are performed in a plastic housing box. The transformers are considered supporting by construction mode. For ТШ-0,66 transformer the primary winding is performed by a bus bar of a distribution device, going through the transformer window. The secondary winding terminals are covered with a protecting cover that allows no unauthorized access to the transformer during operation. The transformers are fixed to grounded constructions of consumer products by means of flanges or claws.
During the primary winding connection, the torque transmission onto the plastic housing box is not allowed. The torques of contact connections gripping are to correspond to ГОСТ 10434-82.
The transformers are not to be repaired.
3 Marking and packaging
The terminals of the primary winding, which is connected to the measuring current circuit, are indicated as Л1 and Л2, the terminals of the secondary winding are indicated as И1 and И2 (devices are connected to them).
The transformer has a technical data plate and a warning note about voltage level on the open-circuited secondary winding.
The transformers are sealed with a mark print of the verification officer.
The packaging category by using the cardboard-polyethylene package conforms ГОСТ 23216-78-С/КУ-2.
4 Security measures
Safety requirements for the transformers constructions are to correspond to ГОСТ 7746-2001, section 7, ГОСТ 12.2.007.3-75.
It is prohibited to activate the installation with open-circuited secondary winding of the current transformer. After the manner of protecting people from injuring with current, the transformer belongs to 0 class according to ГОСТ 12.2.007.0-75 and is designed for installation in inaccessible areas, allowing no opportunity to touch while the electric installation is under voltage.
While mounting and operating the transformer the applicable rules of technical operation, safety engineering and some additional requirements provided in this section are to be observed.
It is not allowed to perform any switching in the transformer secondary circuits without making sure that the voltage is removed from the primary winding.
While operating there is to be no opportunity of disconnecting the transformer secondary circuits. The secondary windings which are not used while operating are to be short-circuited.
5 Maintenance work order
Before mounting remove the conservation from the transformer housing box with a wad saturated with benzine or white spirit, after that wipe the contact surfaces with a clean dry rag.
While operating let the transformer preventive examination and maintenance within the time scheduled for examination of the entire installation.
The transformer verification is carried out according to ГОСТ 8.217-2003.
Calibration (interverification) interval – 4 года.
MTBF (mean time between failures) - 4·106 ч.
Mean service life of the transformer – 25 years.
6 Conservation
Requirements for the transformer conservation – «2» according to ГОСТ 15150-69. Period of storage before bringing into operation – 3 years. The transformer is stored in half-house or indoors at the temperature from +40оС to –50оС with relative humidity 80% at 20оС, with no atmospheric precipitation and direct solar radiation.
All the uncolored transformer metal parts exposed to environmental effect are to be oiled with К-17 ГОСТ 10877-76.
7 Transportation
The transformer is transported at any distance by covered transport only (rail buses, containers, covered motor vehicles etc), by air transportation – in heated compartments.
While transporting within one city it is allowed to transport the transformers in shipping container in open motor vehicles protecting the cargo with tarpaulin.
